Client Feature: Ferrari’s 296 GTB Launch Event

On Friday, March 24, IntercomLux Security provided security services at Ferrari Vancouver’s official launch event for the new 296 GTB. Hosted at the Ferrari Vancouver dealership, the event featured a memorable unveiling of the stunning super car, hand-crafted cocktails, canapés, and a curated playlist for the evening by a local DJ.
For our scope of work, we created a customized security and risk management plan to ensure the safety and security of the dealership for guests, staff and the surrounding community. Our team of professionals welcomed each guest at the doors of the event, oversaw the all Ferrari showroom vehicles as well as the crowd to ensure the cars remained in pristine condition throughout the event, maintained access control for various elements of the event and provided overnight services to supervise vendor takedown and ensure safety and security of Ferrari property.
The 296 GTB, an evolution of Ferrari’s mid-rear-engined two-seater sports berlinetta concept, represents a revolution for the Maranello-based company as it introduces the new 120° V6 engine coupled with a plug-in (PHEV) electric motor capable of delivering up to 830 cv. The car thus defines the idea of driving fun to provide pure excitement not only when pursuing maximum performance but also in everyday driving.
